Mill Low Table is a work designed by Swedish contemporary designer Monica Förster and published in 2022. Monica Förster grew up in an area near the Arctic Circle. It can be seen that the environment has a clear influence on her creations. Her works reflect her passion for purity. A deep love of shapes and natural inspiration, as well as a curiosity for new materials and technologies.
Mill Low Table Interprets the process of two elements rubbing against each other until they come together perfectly, Monica Förster reinterprets the classic coffee table with a central supporting base, with a pedestal's marble base penetrating upwards in the center of the flat, smooth surface of the wood , creating a special shape like stone grinding. The natural beauty of wood and stone is combined to create unique shapes and textures, perfectly presenting a simple and elegant design.
This side table is available in two sizes and colours, with a base in Breccia Bresciana or Fior di Pesco Carsico marble and a top in ash stained walnut or ash stained dark gray.
